APPELLATE CASE INFORMATION and TRANSCRIPT DUE DATES NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE– Want to know what documents have been filed in a case, a case number, or when a transcript is due?  This site offers a myriad of information for active cases, including case dockets, court calendars, Opinions, Memorandum Decisions, court minutes and transcript due dates. To visit the site, click here or on the link in the left column of this page.
 
E-FILING EXPANDS – The Arizona Supreme Court is accepting e-filed, non-initiating documents on death penalty cases from attorneys in Maricopa County.  The Court is also accepting e-filed transcripts in death penalty cases from Maricopa County court reporters.
 
NEW ATTORNEY CONTACT REQUIREMENTS - Effective July 1, 2009, attorneys who file matters in the State Superior Courts, Court of Appeals or the Supreme Court must provide and maintain an e-mail address to which official court documents will be sent and provide that address to the court. ELECTRONIC DISTRIBUTION OF DOCUMENTS - Per Administrative Order 2009-43, the Arizona Supreme Court Clerk's Office is e-mailing Orders, Notices, Minute Letters and other documents as of July, 2009. The e-mailed documents will take place of paper documents delivered by U.S. Mail.
 
E-FILING AT THE SUPREME COURT - The Supreme Court began a pilot e-filing project with the Office of the Attorney General in October 2008. The pilot is for criminal cases only. This spring, we expanded the project to include several criminal justice agencies in Maricopa County and Pima County. Additionally, this spring we began accepting Petitions for Review that are filed electronically in the Court of Appeals.
 
SCANNED EXHIBITS IN DEATH PENALTY CASES – The Supreme Court is scanning as many exhibits as possible in death penalty cases. The scanned images are available for viewing in the Clerk’s Office. Please call (602) 452-3396 for an appointment.
