Beyond the Basics Training

The Beyond the Basics training curriculum encourages a further exploration of personal values and discusses effective communication, case management, self care and specific resources and services that are available in each county.

The Beyond the Basics manual contains 5 sections and includes several activities that need to be completed before a new CASA volunteer can begin work on his/her first case.

The manual is provided below in a full PDF file and also divided into individual sections. The activities have been formatted for completion online or can be printed separately. Please check with your CASA program for instructions on completing the activities.
