Getting Started Training

The Getting Started training curriculum provides an introduction to the CASA volunteer role and the CASA of Arizona program as well as an overview of the challenges faced by children and families in the child welfare system.

The Getting Started manual contains 6 sections and includes several activities and review questions that need to be completed before a prospective CASA volunteer attends the 2-day Advocacy Academy training.

The manual is provided below in a full PDF file and also divided into individual sections. The activities and review questions have been formatted for completion online or can be printed separately. Please check with your CASA program for instructions on submitting your activities and review questions.
