KARL HECKART has been the Arizona Judicial Branch Chief Information Officer (CIO) for 15 years. During his tenure, the percentage of courts automated grew from 25% to 100%. He is currently engaged in projects that will automate the integration of probation departments into the trial courts, and bring electronic filing and paperless operations to all courts in the state.
