Arizona Judicial Branch

Stewart Bruner

STEWART BRUNER serves as the beleaguered staff member for the Commission on Technology, the top governance body over technology in Arizona’s Judicial Branch.  He manages all aspects of strategic technology planning, policy development, technology-related grant reviews, and project oversight for COT’s chair, the vice chief justice.  Prior to joining the Administrative Office of the Courts, Stewart worked for Arizona’s executive branch overseeing enterprise architecture, policies, and standards through the Government Information Technology Agency (GITA).  He has almost 25 years of experience communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.  Stewart is relied upon by technologists to accurately “get the word out” with humor and candor.  He is a senior member of the Society for Technical Communication (www.stc.org) and has been profiled in Society publications.  He is related to a lot of really smart people who test well.
