Message from the Clerk of the Court

Welcome to the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division One Clerk’s Office. Thank you for visiting our website.

Division One of the Court of Appeals has jurisdiction over cases originating in eight of the state’s fifteen counties:  Apache, Coconino, La Paz, Maricopa, Mohave, Navajo, Yavapai, and Yuma.  Division One reviews judgments entered by the Superior Court, the Arizona Tax Court, the Industrial Commission, the Corporation Commission, and other state commissions and boards.

This website is designed to provide information for the most commonly asked questions about the Court and the clerk’s office.  If you are not familiar with the Court of Appeals, our forms and guide for self-represented litigants webpage is a good place to start.  We also have posted answers to many frequently asked questions (FAQs).

The Clerk’s Office has many responsibilities, including filing, tracking and maintaining documents for all cases filed in the court. The Clerk’s Office is responsible also for making case information and court decisions available to the public and providing assistance to judicial staff.  Most of the documents filed in our court are available for public inspection. Upon request, we will make copies of these documents. Arizona law requires us to collect a copying charge of 50 cents per page. If you would like to review documents and/or have copies made, please review our Court Files information or contact our office for more information.

Please be advised that we are able to provide information about procedures, but we cannot provide legal advice.
