Building Location, Directions, General Information

 

There are multiple ways to contact the Clerk of the Court. In person:  We are located on the second floor of the State Courts Building, 1501 West Washington, Phoenix.  Please note that the court’s entrance is on Jefferson, which is one block south of Washington and runs one way from west to east. Parking is in front of this entrance. If our surface lot is full, you may park on the surface lot on the north east corner of 15th Ave and Adams . After passing through security, turn left into the hallway. The clerk’s office is through the first door on the left.

Our standard hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except on state-recognized holidays. Click here for the Holiday Schedule.

 

ADA Accessibility

Information regarding the general accessibility of the State Courts building can be found in the Administrative Services section of the Arizona Supreme Court’s website.

Requests for accommodation during an oral argument, in one of the Court of Appeals Courtrooms, are to be made in advance to the Administrative Human Resources Manager (602) 542-4821.

 Courtroom Rules

  • No talking while court is in session
  • No small children allowed in court
  • No hats or bandanas
  • Turn off cell phones and pagers
  • No food or drink
  • No talking to defendants in custody
  • No shorts or tank tops
  • No sleeping
