Civil Rules of Procedure for LJ Courts
The Committee on Civil Rules of Procedure for Limited Jurisdiction Courts is an ad hoc committee that was established by Chief Justice Berch on January 19, 2011; see Administrative Order 2011-13. The Committee’s purpose is to review the rules of civil procedure and determine if either a new set of specialized rules of civil procedure for limited jurisdiction courts, or amendments to the existing rules of civil procedure that would be applicable only in limited jurisdiction courts, would promote the Court’s strategic goal of streamlining court processes. The Committee will report its recommendations to the Arizona Judicial Council by December 2011.
