Committee to Study Interpreter Issues / Arizona Court Interpreter Funding Committee
In response to the recommendations of the Committee to Study Interpreter Issues in Arizona Courts to the Arizona Judicial Council (AJC), the Chief Justice established the Arizona Court Interpreter Funding Committee as an advisory committee to the AJC. The committee developed specific recommendations geared to resolving court interpreter issues.
This committee was established to define funding needs and develop sources, including submitting appropriate grant requests, to secure funding for an Arizona court interpreter program. The committee's term ended on December 31, 2003.
