CONTRACTS & MONITORING

 

Contracting

In accordance with A.R.S. §8-322, the Arizona Supreme Court (ASC) is designated as the entity responsible for the administration and management of the Juvenile Probation Services Fund and Diversion Fund. Monies from these funds shall be used to fund programs to reduce the number of repetitive juvenile offenders and to provide services for juveniles who are on probation, including treatment, testing, independent living programs and residential, foster and shelter care, and for children who are referred to the juvenile court for incorrigibility or delinquency offenses. These services shall be approved by the Supreme Court and funded through contracting with community youth serving agencies.

Monitoring 

In accordance with A.R.S. §8-321 and §322 and Administrative order #89-20 adopted by the Arizona Supreme Court on 8/1/89 in conjunction with local juvenile courts, it is the policy of the Arizona Supreme Court; Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC), to review contracted services provided to court referred juveniles through the process of Contract Monitoring of the contracted vendors.


AOC Contractor Incident Reporting 

Contracted vendors are required to notify the Arizona Supreme Court (ASC), Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) and the referring probation department of incidents involving clients served under ASC/AOC Contract and other youth as identified in the AOC Standard Terms & Conditions through a process of incident reporting.
