Presiding Judge Norman Davis and the Honorable C. Steven McMurry for the Protective Order Center
The Protective Order Center, formerly known as the Family Violence Prevention Center, is a place where people who feel their safety is in jeopardy or that they are being harassed can file an order of protection, injunction against harassment, or an injunction against workplace harassment, and in the past ten years, the Center have helped more than 120,000 people.

Justice 2020 Goal: Protecting Children, Families, and Communities
Presiding Judge Norman Davis and Honorable Rosa Mroz for, Reinventing Probate Court in Maricopa County
Presiding Judge Davis in Maricopa County and Probate Presiding Judge Rosa Mroz collaborated to create a new generation of probate court. Initiatives included, a new case management protocol, a compliance calendar, a probate evaluation tool to identify high-risk cases, a report line that links the public directly to the probate investigations department, and community outreach and education programs.

Justice 2020 Goal: Strengthening the Administration of Justice
Scottsdale City Court
Scottsdale City Court successfully implemented a comprehensive court-based jail alternative program for non-violent DUI offenders who live in Arizona. Specifically, a Home Detention Electronic Monitoring (HDEM) Program was implemented in October 2010. Defendants’ whereabouts are monitored through house arrest, curfew monitoring, and a GPS tracking system.

Ms. Sandra Figueroa, Deputy Graham County Chief Juvenile Probation Officer
Ms. Figueroa has served as the Deputy Chief Juvenile Probation Officer since 1997 and has overseen all operations of the Juvenile Department and her hard work and dedication for the youth, families, and community of Graham County demonstrates the positive impact.
