An internal taskforce from the Arizona Supreme Court recently embarked on an effort to refresh and reorganize the state’s judicial branch web site.
Technology allows courts to do more with less, by creating efficiencies that save money and time, while providing accountability and transparency for the judicial branch of government.
The Arizona judicial system is constantly reviewing and modernizing operations and policies to ensure public resources are used effectively, efficiently, and with accountability. The redesign of this web site is just one example of the many projects staff have undertaken to ensure that this goal is met.
Public confidence in the courts is predicated, in part, on transparency of processes, access to reliable information, and timely resolution of disputes. In this era of “on demand” information, the public expects instant access to judicial branch information. On this site, you will find case information and documents are readily available for use by the public and information about how Arizona courts work with the community is just a click away.
However, our work is not done. We continue to work on completing the transfer of information to this new format and will be bringing you soon, the ability to utilize electronic filing and access to court records from the web.
We hope you will find the site even more user-friendly and we appreciate your patience during this process. We look forward to assisting you in the future.
