Reflections on the Holocaust and the Role of the Justice System

"Could this happen again?"

"What lessons can we learn from the Holocaust?"

"Are there safeguards in the American legal system to prevent such an event from occurring?"

Arizona Supreme Court Chief Justice Rebecca White Berch and Dr. William Meinecke of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum will join ASU Professor David Kader and Yavapai County Attorney Sheila Polk for a discussion that explores how the justice system failed Germany during WWII. The discussion will include short videos to examine the historical events and Hitler's rise to power, followed by presentations by the distinguished guests.  Tours of the Anne Frank Exhibit  will be available after the presentation.
