    This proposed amendment is designed to facilitate settlement discussions and settlement conferences in capital cases leading to earlier resolution of cases which can be settled.

    Would facilitate settlement discussions and settlement conferences in capital cases by making inadmissible statements made in connection with them and making information disclosed confidential.
