Amendments to Judicial Conduct Canons would clarify actions that judges may take while performing the duties of their office impartially, competently, and diligently. The changes reflect an appropriate approach to targeted disinformation or misinformation campaigns against judges.

Would amend the Ariz. Code of Jud. Conduct, S. Ct. Rule 81, to specify that judges may respond to allegations about their conduct, including attacks on their reputations.
