    Amends Eviction Rules 7, 11, and Appendix A (Residential Eviction Information Sheet), and adds a new Rule 20, to conform to statutory changes enacted by HB2484 and HB2485.

    To implement a recent statute, would amend Rules 7 and 11 of the Rules of Procedure for Eviction Actions to bar courts from charging a fee for filing an answer to a complaint for forcible entry or detainer, and would adopt a new Rule 20 requiring courts to seal records pertaining to an eviction action if the defendant wins, the case is dismissed, or the parties stipulate to setting aside the eviction and sealing the records.

    Pursuant to Rule 28 of the Rules of the Supreme Court, Community Legal Services (“CLS”), DNA People’s Legal Services (“DNA”), Southern Arizona Legal Aid (“SALA”), and the William E.
