The proposed amendment to the Justice Court Rules of Civil Procedure is designed to require a judgment creditor to file a satisfaction of judgment and, in those instances when a judgment creditor has failed to do so, to provide a procedure for the court to deem a judgment satisfied.

Would amend the Justice Court Rules of Civil Procedure to require filing of a satisfaction of judgment and, failing that, a procedure to deem a judgment satisfied.
