    This petition proposes integrating Rule 39 throughout the Arizona Rules of Criminal Procedure.

    Would amend over 50 Crim. Proc. Rules to insert victims' rights provisions

    Filed January 10, 2020.

    Comment must be submitted on or before May 1, 2020.

    Replies must be submitted on or before June 1, 2020.

    ORDERED: Petition to Amend the Arizona Rules of Criminal Procedure = CONTINUED pending the work of a Restyling Committee to be formed to carry out this proposal’s goal of integrating selected provisions of Rule 39, Rules of Criminal Procedure, into other related provisions of the Rules of Criminal Procedure where they more logically belong and where they will safeguard the rights of victims in the criminal justice system.
