The proposed amendments to the Local Rules of Practice in the Yavapai County Superior Court provide consistency with statewide rules, allow flexibility in case assignments, and eliminate rules that have proved unnecessary. The proposed amendments are approved by all current judges on the Yavapai County bench.

    Filed: October 8, 2020

Comments must be submitted on or before December 14, 2020.

My only concern over the new amendments are the ease it provides any individual to manipulate and
    monopolize.
I would rather assume all in Yavapai Legal Feilds are honest and will forever remain so. Yet, we all know
better than to believe an ability to manipulate thru power is not always rejected.
Therefore in leu of not being simply destructive and negative I would like to offer a suggestion of a set
length of time each would hold their seat in their departments.
Understanding that area of expertise is the purpose of each assigned bench, and therefore it makes that
suggestion difficult....yet we all should desire to preserve the hard work that's been put into making
Yavapai as great as it is.

    Thank you
    Mayla
