    Summary of rule change.

The rule change is requested to resolve issues stemming from remote ( overseas ) litigants general inability to receive "paper" postal communications in a timely manner which impacts fundamental fairness. The expansion and scope of electronic documents transfers would enable those with efile and COSC electronic services a complete range of judicial options and remedies that can be foreclosed by the necessity of "paper" documentations including judicial live signature summons and orders..

    Filed: January 23, 2023

Would amend the Rules of Family Law Procedure to require electronic service of filings/pleadings and delivery of orders if one of the parties is overseas or does not have a mailing address.

Comments due no later than June 3, 2024, and any reply by the petitioner due no later than July 1, 2024.
