of Historical Importance
 

Certain cases filed in Arizona courts may be identified as having historical significance because of a special legal issue or controversy in the case, the relevance of one or more parties to the action, or because it is a notable or newsworthy case. .

Pursuant to § 3-402 and § 4-302 , a motion to designate a case as historically significant must be filed either by a member of the citizenry or by the court upon its own motion. The motion must identify at least one reason why the case should be designated as historically significant.

 

Extension and exemption of fees

If you cannot pay the fees required to file the documents, you may have other options.
