On June 21, at the annual Arizona State Bar Convention, the contributions of three judges from Division One will be recognized.  Judges Randall H. Howe and Kent E. Cattani will be honored as recipients of the Michael C. Cudahy Criminal Justice Award.  This award, established in 2006, is presented to “the criminal law prosecutor who during his or her career has worked tirelessly to advance the principles of criminal justice by representing the public’s interest with integrity, fairness, tenacity, creativity, brilliance and above all, professionalism.”   Judge Lawrence F. Winthrop will receive the President’s Award in recognition of his continuing efforts on improving access to justice and helping coordinate the work in that area  of the Arizona State Bar of Governors and the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education.
