  All 14 Juvenile Detention Schools in the state are once again proud to have achieved renewal of their accreditation through AdvandED by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI) on August 20, 2010.  AdvancED is the world's largest education community representing over 23,000 public and private schools and districts in 30 states and 65 countries.  They serve over 15 million students!    
   
  To earn the distinction of accreditation, all of our schools recognize and demonstrate the importance of working together to meet the needs of their students through high standards, continuous improvement and quality assurance.  Yearly, our schools meet to share their comprehensive School Improvement Plans which focus on goals achieved in the previous year as well as goals they have set for the coming year.  This provides a framework for continually improving student achievement and performance.  To view the School Improvement Plans from each Detention School please click on the county links below.
