The Supreme Court Clerk’s Office is seeking an experienced manager to join our team as the Court Operations Manager.  If you are a dynamic, experienced manager seeking an innovative and fast-paced environment, you are invited to pursue this exciting leadership opportunity.

As the highest state court, the Supreme Court has discretionary jurisdiction and processes approximately 1,100 cases annually.  The Supreme Court Clerk’s Office receives the majority of the filings via eFiling and completes case processing in an automated case management system. The work of the Clerk’s Office is detailed and accuracy is critical.

This position directs and manages the staff, operations and strategic initiatives of the Clerk’s Office through the development and implementation of operational and case processing policy and procedures and special projects, including technology related initiatives to ensure accurate, consistent and timely case processing in compliance with court Rules and statutes.  The Court Operations Manager reports to the Clerk of the Court.  The ideal candidate brings to the position significant experience in successfully managing people and projects through the refinement of work priorities, policy and procedure, and technological initiatives. 

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in public administration, criminal justice, social science or a related field and seven years progressive management experience. Relevant experience may substitute for education. This position requires demonstrated skill in leading personnel and team building and experience in planning, directing, organizing, managing and coordinating multiple work processes, projects, and personnel simultaneously with timely results.

Travel level: negligible.
