The division assists and provides support to Arizona courts under the direction of its Director with its six units.

Our Units

Automation Services &
Training Unit

The unit assists courts by improving court operations, financial processing and statutory reporting through the use of automated systems and tools. The unit provides business and technical analysis, 2nd level support on statewide applications, and training. The unit works on the AJACS and AZPOINT systems.

Center for Forensic Science & Artificial Intelligence

The Center examines and disseminates the most up-to-date information and research in forensic science and forensic psychology as applicable to various case types throughout the justice system. The Center also collaborates in the development of resources and training for stakeholders in both forensic science and artificial intelligence.

Consolidated Collections
Unit

The unit assists courts statewide with enforcing court orders by collecting monetary sanctions, including fines, fees and restitution. Assistance is provided through programs, such as Debt Setoff (DSO), Fines/Fees and Restitution Enforcement (FARE), and Traffic Ticket Enforcement Assistance (TTEAP).

Court Access and Statistics Unit

The unit collects and reports on statistics from courts and works on standardization projects. The court works on language access and interpreter credentialing, and administers grant funds.

Court Operations Unit

The unit provides administrative supervision and assists courts with operational and financial management issues.

Court Programs Unit

The unit provides various assistance and committee support to courts in areas such as access to justice, child support and family law, domestic violence, crime victims and victim restitution, jury management, and court forms. The unit reports on the impact that legislative and rule changes have on the judiciary.

eCourt Services Unit

This unit works with courts and vendors to enhance court business practices through the development and implementation of technological solutions. The unit provides customer support, training materials, and live training sessions for its projects: Digital Evidence, eAccess, eBench, and eFiling. The unit also processes requests and renewals for paperless court operations and provides customer support for nCourt payment processing services that are used with statewide programs.
