All current legal document preparer individual and business certifications will expire on July 1, 2021.  The Certification and Licensing Division will begin receiving renewal applications on or after May 3, 2021, online through the Arizona Judicial Branch Certification & Licensing Portal at

The individual certificate holder/designated principal must register for portal access.  If you have not already created an account in the portal, registration can be completed at any time by selecting “Login/Register” from the upper right side of the screen and “Don't have an account? Register Here” from the login screen.  This will require an email address and social security number.  The email address MUST match what is currently on file with the Division.  If your email address has changed, please notify the Division BEFORE you attempt to register in the portal.

Once you have provided the registration information required and selected “Register,” you should then receive an email with a link that will prompt you to set a password for your account.  Please note that system emails often land in the junk or spam folders.  Once in the portal, access to individual and/or business information can be obtained by selecting either the “individual” or “business” buttons which appear in the upper portion of the screen.  Information as to a specific certification/license can be found by selecting “licenses” from the blue text menu on the main page.  The renewal application may be accessed by selecting “renew” from the “actions” dropdown menu found next to the license information.  Basic information and status on submitted renewal applications can be viewed by selecting the “applications” selection from the blue text menu on the main page.

A link to the application instructions is provided below.  Please review these instructions thoroughly prior to beginning the online application process in order to ensure all required information and documentation is prepared in advance of starting the online submission.  Referenced forms are available under the Certificate Holder Information icon on this webpage.
