Ethics Advisory Committee


The Ethics Advisory Committee was created in accordance with Rule 42.1. The Committee issues formal opinions on lawyer ethics, professionalism and the unauthorized practice of law.

Members of the Ethics Advisory Committee are appointed by the Chief Justice and must be members of the State Bar of Arizona. Each selected from a variety of practice areas, settings, and geographic locations. There are currently sixteen members, serving staggered three-year terms.
