Ethics Advisory Committee

The Ethics Advisory Committee was created in accordance with Arizona Supreme Court Rule 42.1. The Committee must consist of at least nine members and may issue opinions on lawyer ethics, legal paraprofessional ethics, Alternative Business Structure ethics, professionalism, and the unauthorized practice of law. Members of the Ethics Advisory Committee are appointed by the Chief Justice and must be members of the State Bar of Arizona, selected from a variety of practice areas, settings, and geographic locations.

To ensure compliance with the Arizona Code of Judicial Administration § 1-202 regarding public meetings, the meeting agenda, materials, and remote attendance information will be provided below at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting.

The “Call to the Public” portion of the agenda is provided for public comment. If you would like to address the Board, send the following information to [email protected]:

The Chair will call the name of each person when it is time to speak. Each public comment is limited to 3-5 minutes.
