Committee on Limited Jurisdiction Courts
The Committee on Limited Jurisdiction Courts (LJC) was established by ACJA § 1-106 as a standing committee of the Arizona Judicial Council (AJC). Among the charges of the committee are:

  • Assist AJC with policy development and implementation of policies designed to improve the quality of justice, access to the courts and efficiency in court operations.
  • Identify the needs and study the internal operation of limited jurisdiction courts. Analyze and plan for future development and recommend uniform administrative policies and procedures to improve judicial administration.
LJC Vision Statement: To use the extensive knowledge and experience of the membership to stay informed of new and innovative practices implemented by one or more limited jurisdiction courts and share these practices with other limited jurisdiction courts in an effort to assist courts to quickly adopt “best practices” that have already been tested and/or successfully implemented.
