How to Apply for ABS Licensure

Arizona Code of Judicial Administration section 7-209 sets forth the regulatory and licensing structure for ABSs, effective January 1, 2021. The requirements of the ABS application process appear in Code section 7-209(E) and (G)(1).

Please follow these tips to complete the ABS application

  • Make sure to fill out every required question, even if the information seems repetitive or straightforward 
  • The online portal only allows you to upload documents that specifically correspond to the question being asked. The character limit is currently 250 words. If you require a limited extend responses, please email the program directly for next steps. 
  • please avoid using phrases like "see attached" in free-form response fields. The division relies on the information entered directly in each field to propoerly evaluate the application.
