A.R.S. § 23-1043.01(B), which limits workers’ compensation claims for mental illnesses to those that arise from an “unexpected, unusual or extraordinary stress” situation, does not violate article 18, section 8 of the Arizona Constitution or the equal protection guarantee of article 2, section 13. |

| Constitutionality Decision
The Secretary of State’s petition circulator registration process made it impossible for an initiative sponsoring committee to comply with the registration requirements set forth in § 19-118(B)(5). For that reason, the Court concluded that A.R.S. § 19-118(A), which requires signature disqualification for noncompliance with § 19-118(B)(5), is unconstitutional as applied in these circumstances. |
