Respondent engaged in a pattern of neglect in the handling of client matters.  Respondent failed to adequately communicate and diligently represent clients.  Specifically, Respondent failed to file a complaint to recoup costs, made a false statement of material fact to the court by misrepresenting the status of his representation and the extension to the court in his motion to withdraw.  Respondent then failed to cure the misrepresentation.  Respondent further failed to adequately supervise his non-lawyer assistant and charged fees that were contrary to the fee agreement.
