Commission on Diversity, Equality, and Justice in the Judiciary
The Commission on Diversity, Equality, and Justice (CODEJ), formerly known as Commission on Minorities has been a standing commission of the Arizona Judicial Branch for over twenty years. Beyond the Commission’s focus on the advancing diversity, equality, and justice, the Commission also is charged with developing recommendations to promote diversity, equality, and including recruiting, hiring, and training of judicial officers, and court and probation department employees. Additionally, the Commission is working to develop programs that encourage diverse groups to obtain internships and clerkships, and to participate in other career development and training programs for judicial, legal, court, and law-related positions.
