Appellate Time Standards


On November 4, 2015, the Steering Committee on Appellate Case Processing Standards was created through Administrative Order No. 2015-90. The Committee was charged with reviewing the national time standards for processing cases in the appellate courts and recommending standards for Arizona, which became effective on July 1, 2016. The Supreme Court, Court of Appeals Division One, and Court of Appeals Division Two report on an annual basis for the following case types: Civil, Criminal, Family, Industrial Commission, Juvenile, and Special Actions. The first fiscal year reported is 2017, and the data can be found below.
