This course introduces participants to the High Performance Court (HPC) model and provide a national framework for assessing organizational court performance.
Goals
- Put core competencies in perspective by improving participant’s understanding of courts as organizations
- Better enable court administrators to successfully make fundamental changes in court operations
- Better enable court administrators to successfully improve court performance
After completing this course, participants should be able to:
- Implement appropriate management processes for a High Performance Court
- Carry out practical steps to lead a court through times of organizational stress
- Maintain the legitimacy of the courts as an institution
