Registration Overview:

Candidates use a series of registration request forms to communicate their desire to register for classes or exams during the process of earning an Arizona Court Interpreter Credential. The registration request form provides important information to the Arizona Court Interpreter Credentialing Program (ACICP) including the candidate’s contact information, progress made towards earning a credential, and the desired date/time/location for the class or exam. An overview of the entire process is outlined below.

Candidates must complete and submit a separate registration request form for each class or exam desired.

Registration Forms:

Registration request forms are available below. Please note that a PDF viewer is required to download and view the forms. Click here to download Adobe Reader.

All registration request forms must be emailed to [email protected] by the registration deadline. Candidates requesting reciprocity should view the Reciprocity and Transfer of Components page for information and the corresponding application.

Typically, candidates will have the ability to select up to three (3) dates/times/locations for each class or exam. Though the ACICP will make every effort to accommodate a candidate’s preferences, candidates are encouraged to submit their registration request at the earliest opportunity as space is limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and only after payment has cleared. In the unlikely event the ACICP cannot grant any of the candidate’s requests, or an exam session is cancelled, candidates will be contacted with alternatives. More information about exam schedules and alternatives is available on the registration request form.

For the Arizona Court Interpreter Credentialing Program schedule of classes and exams, visit the Schedule and Calendar page.

Payment of Fees:

After receiving a candidate’s registration request form, the ACICP will verify the information provided on the form and review the class or exam schedule to see if a candidate’s requested appointment time is available.

Candidates will be notified via e-mail that the ACICP has received their registration request. The communication will outline what date/time/location is being held in their name pending payment. Instructions for online payment will be sent with the notification.

Candidates’ selections are not confirmed until payment is received by the ACICP.

Candidates must submit payment by the payment deadline of the candidates’ earliest preferred class or exam. If a candidate misses the payment deadline, the seat being held in his or her name will be released. Each registration request form lists the payment deadline for the class and exam.

For more information about fees, please visit our Fee Schedule page.

Confirmation of Candidate Registration:

After receiving payment, candidates will be notified via e-mail that the ACICP has confirmed a seat in the requested class or exam. The communication will provide details regarding the date/time/location and requirements of the appointment. Candidates will be required to bring the registration confirmation with them to the appointment.

Communications from the ACICP:

It is important to note that all communication from the ACICP will be done through e-mail. It is imperative that you maintain an up-to-date e-mail address in the Arizona Court Interpreter Registry. To help ensure important ACICP communications are received, the ACICP recommends that you place [email protected] on your e-mail “safe sender” list. (For more information about “safe sender” lists, please consult your e-mail provider.)
