    This petition proposes, among other amendments, adding to forty Criminal Rules a new section (v) pertaining to victims' rights. The proposed amendments are contained in attached Appendix A and further explained in attached Appendix B. The petition includes a link to the report of the Committee on Criminal Rules Regarding Victims that was filed in rule petition no. R-20-0031. The substance of that report is incorporated by reference in the present petition.

    Would amend about forty rules of the Rules of Criminal Procedure to insert victims’ rights provisions.

    Comments due no later than October 3, 2022.
    Petitioner's reply due no later than October 21, 2022.
