    Arizona Bar No. 018947
North Valley Justice Court 14264 West Tierra Buena Lane Surprise, AZ 85274

The Petitioners request the Rules of Procedure for Eviction Actions, Rule 5(a)(2), be amended to correct language that has been confusing for some self- represented litigants. Currently, parties are served with a summons directing them to call courts two-hours early. Petitioners request that this be required only if the court has not already provided instructions on how to connect virtually.

    Filed: November 9, 2023

Would amend Rule 5(a)(2) of the Rules of Procedure for Eviction Actions to clarify the instructions in a summons for appearing at a hearing remotely.

Comments must be submitted by no later than Wednesday, May 1, 2024, and any reply by a petitioner must be submitted no later than Monday, June 3, 2024.
