    Would amend Civil Rule 49(d)(1) to address a conflict regarding jverdict unanimity requirements for jury trials held under A.R.S. § 13-4521. Would also amend Criminal Rule 18.1 to provide guidance related to jury size and verdict requirements for A.R.S. § 13-4521 trials.

    Would amend Rule 49(d)(1) of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rule18.1 of the Rules of Criminal Procedure to modify applicable jury trial procedures for trials held under A.R.S. 4521.

    Comments must be submitted by no later than Wednesday, May 1, 2024, and any reply by a petitioner must be submitted no later than Monday, June 3, 2024.
