IT IS ORDERED that Rules 38, 39, and 40, Rules of the Arizona Supreme Court, are hereby abrogated, effective May 1, 2020.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the proposed Rules 38 and 39, Rules of the Arizona Supreme Court, as set forth in Attachment A, are hereby adopted, effective May 1, 2020.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that attorneys and students currently authorized to practice under current Rules 38 or 39 will not need to re-apply under the new rules and their authorizations shall remain in effect consistent with their terms. All other provisions of the new rules will apply effective May 1, 2020.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that all currently approved legal service organizations will not need to re-apply for approval under the new rules and their approval as a legal service organization shall remain in effect consistent with their terms. All other provisions of the new rules will apply effective May 1, 2020.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Rules 32(c)(4), 32(c)(5), 33(c), 34(f)(2)(G), 42, 45(a)(4), and 46(b), Rules of the Arizona Supreme Court, are hereby amended as set forth in Attachment B, effective May 1, 2020.
