The Traffic Ticket Enforcement Assistance Program (TTEAP) was established to assist Arizona state courts with collecting delinquent monetary obligations. Violations include civil and criminal traffic cases or failure to appear in a criminal traffic case. After two failed attempts to collect money have been made, the Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) places a TTEAP hold on a defendant's registration. The hold is on the registration renewal process of the defendant's vehicle and can also impact a co-owner.
If you believe that you have a TTEAP hold on your vehicle registration, you can search for registration renewal holds on the Public Access website or talk to our TTEAP Lookup bot.
