I came into FTC fresh out of jail, without my family, and no direction. FTC gave me direction. I was finally held accountable for my actions! It helped me become the mom and person I always wanted to be. I have my children and my self-respect back.

That helped but still did not get me very far. Then I decided I really want this for myself. This program really works and helps you to find yourself.

Family Treatment Court has given me checkpoints of work recognition and validation. Not only does it offer me the rewards of completing probation early and misdemeanors rather than felonies, FTC offers me the reward of acknowledgement. It gives me the feeling of being SEEN. I came out of addiction and rose above it after having a loss so devastating that I could have just given up. Becoming sober and regaining that “normal” life while working through the trauma… That’s an accomplishment! That is huge and I have this “normal” life now. Every month FTC encouraged me, rewarded me, held me accountable, and recognized the hard work I was doing and that kept me going. I have 18 ½ months sober and I don’t ever want to give up those days. I don’t want to ever give myself or my babies less in life than we deserve again.
