Filing a family law case in the court.
 

An action filed in a family law case may be filed to seek a divorce or legal separation or to create a parenting plan. Filers should be prepared to provide information about child custody, parenting time, child support, spousal support and the separation of community property and debt.

Family law actions must be filed in the superior court of the county in which one of the spouses resides provided that at least one of the spouses has lived in Arizona for at least 90 days. If the action involves a minor child, that child must have lived in Arizona for at least 6 months prior to filing.

DES-DCSS Child Support system is undergoing planned maintenance


The Child Support system will be unavailable from Friday, May 3 at 5:00 p.m. until Thursday, May 9 at 8:00 a.m. The planned maintenance will impact the offices of the Clerks of the Superior Court and their ability to provide child support and spousal maintenance information that resides in the system, including payment histories and arrears calculation reports. We appreciate your patience during system maintenance.
 
 
The Summary Consent Decree is a streamlined process intended for parties who reached full agreement on separating property and assets, and when children are involved, legal decision-making, parenting time, and child support BEFORE either party initiates a case for divorce with the court.
