    Would amend Ariz. R. Evid. 801 to conform to the anticipated 2024 amendments to Fed. R. Evid. 801

    Filed: January 10, 2024

    Would amend Rule 801 of the Arizona Rules of Evidence to clarify that a declarant’s out-of-court statement is not hearsay if potential liability against a party is derived from the declarant or the declarant’s principal.

    Comments must be submitted by no later than Wednesday, May 1, 2024, and any reply by a petitioner must be submitted no later than Monday, June 3, 2024.
