On October 24, 2006, an Administrative Order 2006-90 was signed, ordering that on November 1, 2006, a statewide GPS monitoring program is established, pursuant to ARS 13-902(G), ordering adoption of policies for implementation of the program, ordering to designate and fund probation departments to provide monitoring services, ordering AOC to disburse funds as appropriate by legislature, ordering that each offender sentenced to this GPS requirement shall equate to 3 offenders, and ordering that IPS teams may supervise these probationers if their caseloads allow.
