Current Focus Areas:

• Bring MIKID back into our community which will increase parent engagement and foster quicker permanency for the children in foster care.
• Implement a book reading program for Virtual Parenting Time that will be based on best practices to increase contact and bonding for infants and toddlers to help meet developmental milestones.
• Work towards obtaining a grant to find, and utilize a house for a visitation center, to provide quality parenting time between children and their parents.
• Utilize the newly revised Best for Babies Checklist.
• Implement the Dependency Alternative Program (DAP) for Graham County to help decrease the number of children coming into the dependency process.
