CTIT County Goal:

  • Goal: facilitate communications between parents, attorneys, DCS, and courts.
  • Plan: Educate and inform interested parties of goal.
  • Do:
    • - Send a memo to parties to attend CFT and TDM's as well as contact clients prior to hearings; DCS share info to attorney's/clients, and
    • - use DCS data to determine movement/involvement of Dependency cases
    • - Meet in 6 months to go over data and measure where goal is at.

Updated County Information:

March 2024 Update:

  • They are currently in the process of starting back up their Family Resilience Team meetings. In Navajo County, these meetings started out being called court team meetings, and now include all Dependency cases, not just Birth to 5. They plan to have the program, "Family Connections," from DCS come to present at one of their team meetings.
  • They are in the creation stages of what is called an "Initial Progress Mediation," which focuses on getting the people in the case back together after the PPC (Preliminary Protective Conference) to determine where things are at and to address any barriers with services, or parents participation.
