2021 Court Interpreter Coordinator Summit
ABOUT THE SUMMIT
This summit is geared towards coordinators and managers who are responsible for managing their courts’ compliance with language access requirements. If you coordinate, supervise or otherwise oversee interpreters and/or other language access programs for your court, then this summit is for you. This summit is designed as a networking and informational event where participants are encouraged to engage in the material and provide their experience and perspective. The Summit consists of

- Updates on the Arizona Court Interpreter Credentialing Program, the Court Interpreter Program Advisory Committee, and language access in general
- Language Access Enforcement in the Biden DOJ
- Developing an Interpreter Pipeline
- Facilitated Small Group Discussions (Training resources for prospective interpreters, Considerations for Remote Interpreting and Court Access Post-Pandemic, Continuing Professional Development for Interpreters)

This session offers participants the opportunity to discuss the need for and share information on web-based and other resources for the training and development of interpreters in support of their efforts to become credentialed.
