As a result of the 2023 Task Force on Pretrial and Form 4, recommendations were made for updates on the statewide Form 4 document. Those changes were approved and amended in Rule 41 of the Arizona Rules of Criminal Procedure, effective January 1, 2025. This video has been provided for Law Enforcement to provide an understanding of those changes and the role it plays in the Initial Appearance Hearing, along with the Public Safety Assessment (PSA) that is prepared for the judicial officer's consideration.
